I’m not sure whether workout route maps are already implemented, but the feature request “Add workout map / routes” is marked as Complete here:

The issue is that the workout route map is not displayed in Sonar. I have Sonar synced with Health Connect, and the workout data comes into Health Connect from Fitbit / Health (through Health Sync). The route map is visible in Fitbit and also in Health Connect, but it does not appear in Sonar.

The attached screenshot from Health Connect shows that the route map data is available there.
