Nutrition Stopped Tracking

Just to follow up on this: we have a theory about what might be happening. Do you mind sharing which app you're using to add nutrition data to your apple health? It's possible they're saving timestamps in Apple Health in an inconsistent way that we would need to account for on our end.

Bright OS > Apple Health > Sonar
Byron
Robin Diaz: Thanks - we're suspecting it might have been caused by a delay in Bright OS writing the nutrition data to Apple Health - do you see the missing data in Sonar from that day now?
If you still see the issue happening, can you send a screenshot of the most recent nutrition data point in Apple Health that is missing so we can see how Bright is providing the timestamps to Apple Health?
I attached an example - you can get to this by navigating to a deep-dive screen for a metric in Apple Health such as Protein > scrolling to the bottom > Show All Data > tap on the most recent entry from Bright.
Appreciate the help with tracking this down.

Byron,
The data missing from the day that prompted this thread showed up the next morning and since, it has been receiving the nutrition data as expected. I am attaching a screenshot though of the data entry from the date that prompted this issue.
Byron
Robin Diaz: Good to hear it's resolved for now, and appreciate the screenshot. So it looks like Bright took ~13 minutes to add the data to Apple Health based on this screenshot, so perhaps that explains it?
If it happens again though and you suspect its a Sonar issue not Bright, would you mind: sending us logs again along with a screenshot of the missing entry (similar to what you attached)? That way we can cross-reference things to see what the issue might be.

Do you mind sending us some logs? Will have an engineer take a look first thing tomorrow morning. You can do this by navigating to the Profile tab, scrolling to the bottom, and tapping quickly on “Version” 3 three times. This will reveal a “send logs” button. Much appreciated!

Byron,
Done, thanks.
Byron
Robin Diaz: thanks. Confirming receipt. Will get back to you later today once I know more.

Robin Diaz Interestingly, the logs show that the nutrition data is being retrieved successfully. Do you mind providing an example of a metric you're experiencing the issue with? It would be helpful to have:
- a screenshot of the data in Apple Health that is missing on Sonar along with the value you would be expecting to see in Sonar.
Once we have that, we can do a deeper investigation. There's one idea we have that can likely resolve the issue, but it would be helpful to confirm things with you first.
